Thermal Insulation Board Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: It is a cement-based, modified polymer and chemical additive, high-strength, movement-resistant adhesive mortar used for bonding heat insulation plates.

AREAS OF USAGE: It is used for bonding all kinds of thermal insulation plates applied on interior and exterior facades.

6-7 lt of clean water is poured into the mixing bowl and the powder mixture is slowly added on it until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. A low speed mixer is used for mixing. Mixing with high speed prevents a homogeneous consistency. After waiting for 5 minutes of maturation, the mixed mortar is ready to use. The prepared mixture can be made in two ways, depending on whether it is in the gauge of the surface to be applied. If the gauge of the surface is smooth; The adhesive mortar is applied as a thin layer on the back surface of the heat insulation plate and carded with a suitable comb. The carded plate is adhered to the surface and the plate is fully adhered to the surface by applying pressure. If the gauge of the surface to be bonded is not smooth, the clustering method can be used. The adhesive mortar is spread as a thin layer on all four sides of the heat insulation plate, and the adhesive mortar is applied to the middle part of the plate in at least 3 heaps. After the plate is adhered to the surface, it is fully adhered by printing again. After the bonding process, plaster application can be started for at least 24-36 hours depending on the weather conditions. At least 40-45% of the heat insulation surface must be adhered to the surface with adhesive. The plates should be laid staggered from bottom to top. Dowels are selected according to the type of plate used, the thickness of the plate, and whether the surface is smooth or not. per plate; 6 dowels should be used, 4 dowels for the corners and 2 dowels for the joints.

After the application, the application tools should be washed with plenty of water. The material whose application period has expired cannot be processed and must be cleaned from the surface. The material in the container that has hardened and has completed its setting cannot be used.
