Product Description and Usage Area
DESCRIPTION: It is a cement-based, modified polymer additive and fiber-reinforced high-strength, single-component building repair mortar that can be applied thinly or thickly indoors and outdoors.
AREAS OF USAGE: It is used for reinforcing reinforced and non-reinforced surfaces of reinforced concrete and prefabricated structures, repairing interior and exterior facades, repairing and leveling surface defects of high-strength concrete elements, repairing surfaces with light and moderate traffic loads, filling rod holes.
Application Instruction
The hardness, water absorbency and durability of the application surface are checked beforehand. In case the surface has high water absorbency, water absorbency of the surface is removed by using Aragonit Waterproofing additive.
The gaps on the surface and the places that need to be repaired are repaired beforehand. Surfaces are free of dust, dirt, debris, mold oil, etc. cleared of factors.
Before the application, the surface is moistened depending on the ambient temperature.
4.5 – 5.0 lt of clean water is poured into the mixing bowl and the mortar is added on it slowly and mixed until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. A low speed mixer is used for mixing. Mixing with high speed prevents homogeneous consistency. After waiting for 5 minutes maturation time, 1 minute again. The mixed mortar is ready to use. The mortar is applied to the surface with a steel trowel. If plastering will not be done on the surface, application is made with mortar after the surface to be repaired is moistened.
Depending on the approximate ambient conditions between the coats, 3-4 hours should be waited and if necessary, the second coat is applied.
After the application, the application tools should be washed with plenty of water. Adhesion cannot be made on the material whose application period has expired and it must be cleaned from the surface. The material in the container that has hardened and has completed its setting cannot be used.
