Silicone Joint Filler
Product Description: It is a special cement-based, silicone-added, elastic, highly stable, erasable joint filler.
Usage Areas: Indoor and outdoor, ceramic, tile, marble, granite, natural stones etc. It is used to fill the joint gaps of the coating materials horizontally and vertically.
Application Instruction
Preparation for Application: The hardness, water absorbency and durability of the surface to be applied are checked beforehand. The gaps on the surface and the places that need to be repaired are repaired beforehand.
Application: Average 5.5 – 6.5 liters of water and 20 kg of Aragonit joint filler are thoroughly mixed with a low-speed mixer so that no lumps remain. A low speed mixer is used for mixing. Mixing with high speed prevents homogeneous consistency. After waiting for the maturation period of 5 minutes, the mixed mortar is ready to use. Joint gaps are free of dust, dirt, debris, etc. cleared of factors. After the mortar is applied with the help of a rubber trowel, it is smoothed with a rubber squeegee. Joints are cleaned with a damp sponge 1-2 hours after the application. After the cleaning process is finished, the final cleaning is done with a dry cloth. The floor can be opened for use after 24-48 hours.
After the application, the application tools should be washed with plenty of water. Adhesion cannot be made on the material whose application period has expired and it must be cleaned from the surface. The material in the container that has hardened and has completed its setting cannot be used.
